Education – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday addressed students following the announcement of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) Class 10 and Class 12 examination results, urging those who fell short of expectations to remain hopeful and persistent in their efforts.
Message to Students Facing Disappointment
In a public message shared on social media, the Chief Minister spoke directly to students who may feel discouraged by their results. He reminded them that academic outcomes do not define their entire journey and that setbacks are a natural part of life. According to him, while success often brings joy, failure can lead to temporary disappointment, but it should not become a barrier to future growth.
He encouraged students to focus on learning from their experiences and to continue striving forward without losing confidence. The emphasis remained on maintaining a positive outlook and recognizing that each phase in life presents new opportunities.

Highlighting the importance of perseverance, the Chief Minister referred to the guiding principle of continuous progress. Overview of UP Board Results
The UPMSP declared the results for both High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations on April 23 at 4 PM. This year, the exams saw participation from more than 52 lakh students across the state, making it one of the largest school-level examinations in the country.
The pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 90.42 percent, indicating a strong overall performance among students. Meanwhile, Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 80.38 percent, reflecting a steady academic outcome despite the scale and challenges of the examinations.
Recognition of Academic Achievements
Earlier, following the declaration of results, the Chief Minister extended his congratulations to students, their families, and educators. He acknowledged the collective effort behind academic success, emphasizing the role of discipline, consistent study habits, and determination.
Special mention was made of top-performing students, including Kashish Verma and Anshika Verma, who secured leading positions in the High School examination with an impressive score of 97.83 percent. Their achievement was described as a reflection of sustained hard work and focus.
