BJP – Nitin Nabin Begins Two-Day Uttar Pradesh Organisation Visit
BJP – Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Nabin arrived in Lucknow on Saturday for a two-day organisational visit to Uttar Pradesh, where he is expected to review party preparations and engage with leaders at different levels. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary welcomed him at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport.

Meetings planned with party leadership
The visit comes at a key time for the Uttar Pradesh BJP, with the state preparing for Assembly elections next year. Nabin is scheduled to hold a series of discussions with senior office-bearers, MPs, MLAs and party workers during his stay in Lucknow.
Uttar Pradesh minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said the national president would meet office-bearers at the party headquarters before attending separate interactions with legislators and organisational representatives. He said the programme had been designed to strengthen coordination across the party structure.
According to Chaudhary, Nabin’s engagement with workers is expected to provide direction to the newly formed state team and encourage party cadres ahead of future political activity.
State unit highlights worker participation
Pankaj Chaudhary said BJP workers across Uttar Pradesh had prepared extensively for the national president’s arrival. He described the visit as an opportunity for workers to interact directly with the party’s central leadership and receive guidance on organisational priorities.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also said party members were ready for the visit and would follow the directions shared by the BJP president. He said the state unit was looking forward to the meetings and the organisational review.
Nabin’s trip is his first visit to Uttar Pradesh after the formation of the new BJP state team. The party has said he will meet senior leaders, office-bearers, public representatives and National Democratic Alliance partners during the programme.
Focus on strategy before Assembly elections
A major part of the visit will focus on strengthening the party’s structure from the booth level upward. Nabin is also expected to address a Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference, where workers involved in local-level coordination will be present.
The BJP leadership is expected to use the meetings to assess organisational work, improve communication between elected representatives and party workers, and outline priorities for the coming months. The discussions are likely to include preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled next year.
Party leaders have said the visit is intended to give the new state unit a clearer roadmap while reinforcing the BJP’s outreach among workers and local representatives.
Jammu and Kashmir visit scheduled next
After completing his Uttar Pradesh programme, Nabin is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on July 6 and 7. The tour will be his first visit to the Union Territory since taking charge as BJP national president.
On July 6, he is expected to attend a programme in Jammu marking the birth anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Senior BJP leaders, public representatives, office-bearers and workers are expected to participate in the event at Majestic Grand Palace.
The following day, Nabin is scheduled to take part in a Yuva Samvaad programme in Jammu, where he will interact with young people. He will also hold separate meetings with BJP MPs and MLAs to review party activity and discuss organisational coordination.
The Jammu and Kashmir visit is aimed at improving links between party leaders, elected representatives and grassroots workers while setting out the BJP’s regional priorities.
