Railway Teams Begin Restoration Work

Soon after the incident was reported, railway authorities launched rescue and track restoration operations at the site. Teams continued their work overnight and into Tuesday morning to remove the damaged coaches and restore normal railway movement in the affected section.

Heavy cranes and technical machinery were brought in to lift the derailed coaches, which reportedly suffered significant damage after leaving the tracks. Railway personnel remained deployed throughout the operation to ensure the area was cleared safely and efficiently.

Initial information gathered by railway officials suggests that the train may have experienced a brake-related problem during scheduled maintenance activity inside the yard. However, authorities have clarified that the exact reason behind the derailment has not yet been officially confirmed.

Senior railway officials stated that a detailed investigation has been initiated to determine the precise circumstances that caused the coaches to derail. Technical teams are expected to inspect the train systems, track condition, and maintenance procedures as part of the inquiry.

Crowd Gathered After the Accident

Following the derailment, a large number of local residents and onlookers gathered near the railway tracks after news of the accident spread in the area. Personnel from the Government Railway Police reached the location and managed the crowd to prevent any disruption to restoration efforts.

Officials said security arrangements were strengthened around the accident site while emergency teams carried out recovery work. Railway operations in nearby sections were monitored closely to avoid further complications.

Railway Authorities Monitoring Situation

Northern Railway officials said every effort is being made to restore complete normalcy in the yard and ensure safe railway operations. The administration has also assured that all necessary technical checks will be conducted before the damaged section is fully reopened for regular movement.

The incident once again highlights the importance of safety protocols during railway maintenance and yard operations. Authorities are expected to release a detailed report after the investigation is completed.
