Born on June 19, 1970, at Holy Family Hospital in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi is the son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi. He belongs to one of India’s most prominent political families and entered active politics in the early 2000s.
Over the years, Gandhi has represented several parliamentary constituencies. He served as the Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi constituency between 2004 and 2019 before contesting from Kerala’s Wayanad constituency, which he represented from 2019 to 2024.
