NEETProtest – Students’ Groups Intensify Pressure Over Exam Leak Allegations

NEETProtest –  Allegations surrounding examination irregularities continued to trigger protests in the national capital as student groups and activists stepped up their campaign demanding accountability from the Union Education Ministry.

Neet protest pressure over exam leak allegations

A fresh phase of demonstrations unfolded on Tuesday when the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced an unusual public campaign linked to its ongoing protest over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak controversy. The initiative is aimed at increasing pressure on Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, with protesters reiterating their demand for his resignation.

Unique Campaign Announced at Protest Site

According to a statement shared by the party on social media platform X, supporters were asked to participate in a “diaper donation drive” during the evening gathering at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. As part of the campaign, participants were encouraged to write messages demanding the minister’s resignation on diapers before submitting them at the protest venue.

The campaign has been launched under the slogan “Diaper A Day Keeps Leaks Away.” Party representatives stated that the collected items would be forwarded to the Education Minister as a symbolic expression of public dissatisfaction over the handling of alleged examination-related issues.

Demonstration Enters Fourth Consecutive Day

The protest at Jantar Mantar entered its fourth day on Tuesday. Demonstrators have maintained a continuous sit-in since the weekend, drawing participation from students, competitive exam aspirants, and members of various student organizations.

Organizers have repeatedly stated that their movement is focused on seeking accountability in connection with alleged paper leaks and examination irregularities that have sparked concern among students across the country. Protest leaders have also insisted that the agitation will continue until their demands are addressed.

Allegations Over Protest Area Restrictions

Meanwhile, party founder Abhijeet Dipke claimed that authorities attempted to reduce the area allocated for the demonstration.

Speaking about developments late Monday night, Dipke alleged that police personnel tried to reposition barricades around the protest location, effectively limiting the space available for demonstrators. He argued that such actions could affect the ability of participants to assemble peacefully.

There was no immediate official response from Delhi Police regarding the allegations at the time the claims were made.

Organizers Vow to Continue Agitation

On Monday, protest organizers said attendance remained strong despite the gathering taking place on a regular working day. They noted that students and supporters continued arriving at the venue throughout the day and evening.

Dipke also reiterated that the campaign would not be restricted to daytime activities and would continue beyond regular protest hours. Organizers have maintained that the movement is intended to keep public attention focused on concerns related to examination credibility and fairness.

Tribute Paid to Students

A candlelight gathering was also organized at the protest site to remember students who were reportedly affected by the fallout from the examination controversy. Participants lit candles as a mark of respect and solidarity.

Addressing those present, protest leaders questioned the response to students impacted by alleged irregularities. Speakers argued that stronger action should be taken against individuals responsible for any wrongdoing rather than placing the burden on students preparing for competitive examinations.

Support From Student Organizations

The protest has attracted support from several student bodies and youth organizations. Among those participating are members of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI), the All India Students’ Association (AISA), and the All India Students’ Federation (AISF).

In a parallel initiative, AISF established a free library at the demonstration site. The effort, introduced under the banner “Fight for Education with Education,” aims to provide study resources for students while highlighting concerns related to the education system.

As demonstrations continue, student groups say they will maintain pressure on authorities while seeking greater transparency and accountability in examination processes
