NEETProtest – The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) extended its protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on Monday, completing three consecutive days of demonstrations over allegations linked to examination irregularities and the reported leak of the NEET question paper conducted on May 3. Protest Continues With Supporters Staying Overnight

Participants remained at the protest site through Sunday night despite a visible police presence in the area. Volunteers associated with the demonstration arranged food and drinking water for those taking part, ensuring that protesters could continue their sit-in without interruption. Organisers described the turnout as steady and said more people were expected to join in the coming days.

CJP Leadership Calls for Wider Public Participation

Speaking during the protest, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke urged citizens and farmer organisations to lend their support to the movement. He stated that the campaign would continue until authorities responded to the demands raised by the party. According to organisers, outreach efforts are being made to bring additional groups into the protest to strengthen the demonstration.

Cultural Events and Public Speeches Mark Gathering

Sunday’s activities included speeches, slogan-raising sessions and cultural performances. Supporters participated in musical programmes, played traditional percussion instruments and sang patriotic songs as part of the event. Organisers claimed that attendance crossed 200 people by the evening, creating a lively atmosphere at the protest venue.

Demands Focus on Accountability in NEET Controversy

Among the key demands put forward by Dipke is the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The CJP leadership has alleged that sufficient accountability has not been established regarding the NEET controversy. The party has also called for the cancellation of the examination and has sought financial assistance for families of students who reportedly died by suicide following concerns surrounding the paper leak issue.

Concerns Raised Over Basic Facilities

Protesters additionally highlighted issues related to essential facilities at the site. Some participants alleged that water access to public washrooms had been disrupted during the demonstration. However, organisers later informed supporters that drinking water services had been restored, easing concerns among those present at the venue.

Farmers Expected to Join Ongoing Agitation

Organisers indicated that several farmer groups may participate in the protest in the coming days. They expressed confidence that broader support from social and community organisations could increase pressure on authorities to address the demands connected to the examination controversy. The CJP reiterated that the agitation would continue until meaningful action is taken by the concerned authorities.

Security Arrangements Remain in Place

Police personnel continued to monitor the situation at Jantar Mantar, with barricades positioned around the protest zone to maintain order and regulate movement. Authorities have remained deployed throughout the demonstration as a precautionary measure.

The current agitation marks the second major protest organised by the Cockroach Janta Party at Jantar Mantar over allegations related to examination paper leaks. The organisation maintains that stronger accountability measures and reforms are necessary to restore confidence in the examination system, while supporters continue to gather in support of its demands.
