Massive Allegation Before Bihar Elections: Rahul Gandhi Releases “H Files,” Claims Vote Theft in Haryana
Election fraud: As the political spotlight shifts toward the upcoming Bihar elections, a major controversy has surfaced regarding the recent Haryana Assembly polls. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has raised serious concerns about what he calls large-scale “vote theft,” accusing the Election Commission of India and the ruling party of manipulating voter data to influence the results.

Allegation of Massive Electoral Fraud
Rahul Gandhi stated that more than 25 lakh votes in Haryana were allegedly manipulated through duplicate, invalid, or bulk voter entries. According to him, around 5.21 lakh duplicate voters, 93,174 invalid voters, and over 19 lakh bulk voters were used to alter the election outcome.
He referred to this data as the “H Files”, claiming it contained evidence of how an entire state’s election was “stolen” through a structured and coordinated system.
“One in Eight Voters is Fake”
Gandhi asserted that nearly 12.5% of the voters in Haryana were fake, meaning one out of every eight listed voters either did not exist or was duplicated across multiple booths. He added that the final result was made possible through the alleged involvement of top officials in the Election Commission.
Claims of Collusion
He accused the Chief Election Commissioner and two other commissioners of working “in partnership” with the ruling party to secure its victory. This, he alleged, was part of a larger strategy called “Operation Sarkar Chori” — an operation designed to convert a clear Congress victory into a defeat.
Gandhi highlighted that exit polls and postal ballots had largely indicated a Congress win, yet the final result did not reflect that trend.
Examples of Voter Manipulation
A single woman’s name reportedly appears 223 times across two booths.
A Brazilian model’s photograph allegedly appears 22 times under different names.
Over 1.24 lakh voters reportedly have fake photographs.
Thousands of BJP supporters were claimed to be voting in both Uttar Pradesh and Haryana using different voter IDs.
Questioning the Election Commission
Rahul Gandhi raised multiple questions about why the Election Commission did not use its own software tools to delete duplicate entries. He also questioned the frequent use of “0” as house numbers, which he says makes it impossible to verify genuine voters.
He alleged that these errors were not accidental but part of a deliberate attempt to make voter verification difficult.
Appeal to the Youth
Gandhi concluded his remarks by urging the youth of India, especially Gen Z, to understand the seriousness of voter fraud. He emphasized that voter integrity is directly tied to the future of Indian democracy and must not be ignored.
