If One Person Had Helped: A guy who had a heart attack died on the road as many around him refused to aid, a terrible occurrence captured on CCTV has once again sparked worries about public indifference in Bengaluru. Venkataramana, the victim, was being transported by his wife on a two-wheeler to Jayadeva Hospital when the tragedy occurred close to Kaderanahalli.

As his health deteriorated throughout the trip, Venkataramana passed out on the road. Roopa, his wife, has claimed that even a single bystander’s prompt assistance may have saved his life.

Hospital hopping and chest pain
According to authorities quoted in the Times Now story, the 34-year-old mechanic in south Bengaluru’s Balaji Nagar neighborhood began experiencing excruciating chest discomfort at approximately 3:30 AM. His situation rapidly worsened after he apparently had a small heart attack earlier.

According to Roopa, after first bringing her husband to a neighboring hospital, the physicians recommended that she transfer him right away to Jayadeva Hospital for specialized cardiac treatment. She claimed, nevertheless, that no ambulance was scheduled.

The couple had no choice except to ride on a motorbike, which Roopa rode. When they went to another private hospital, a small heart attack was verified by an ECG. The family said that neither emergency care nor an ambulance was sent. Once again, they were instructed to visit Jayadeva Hospital.

Accident and Urgent Requests for Assistance
Venkataramana’s health deteriorated as they were traveling, and their bike struck another car. He slumped, gasping for air and bleeding, as both landed on the road. Roopa was seen on CCTV begging for assistance for about fifteen minutes as automobiles, a tempo, and a motorbike drove by without pausing.

After a while, a taxi driver offered to assist get him to a local hospital. When the doctors arrived, they pronounced him dead.

Devastated Family
“He would still be alive if even one person had stepped in sooner,” Roopa said. His wife, five-year-old son, and eighteen-month-old daughter survive Venkataramana. After losing her previous five children, his mother also lost her sole surviving kid.

Last Act of Kindness
The family decided to give Venkataramana’s eyeballs in order to help others see despite the terrible loss. Roopa urged people to behave with fundamental compassion in times of crisis, stating that even modest acts of kindness might mean the difference between life and death.
