Governance – Naidu Calls for Faster RTG Response and Stronger Coordination
Governance – Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked political leaders and government officials to work in close coordination to improve development outcomes and public administration across Andhra Pradesh. He said effective governance depends on timely decisions, responsive systems and accountability at every level.

After completing a five-day tour of districts, Naidu returned to Amaravati and reviewed the functioning of the Real-Time Governance Centre at the Secretariat on Monday. During the meeting, he stressed that the RTG system must provide quick and reliable support whenever citizens report grievances or emergencies.
Focus on Timely Citizen Services
The Chief Minister said faster action is essential for building public confidence in government services. He directed officials to make sure that complaints received through the RTG Centre are tracked properly and addressed without avoidable delays.
According to Naidu, technology can support better administration only when departments act promptly on the information received through digital platforms. He said the RTG Centre should become a dependable point of contact for people seeking help from the government.
Proposal for Better Departmental Coordination
Naidu suggested holding a coordination meeting involving key departments under the leadership of the Chief Secretary. The proposed meeting is expected to examine ways to improve communication and joint action among departments, especially during urgent situations.
He said different government agencies must not work in isolation when an emergency occurs. A coordinated response, he noted, can help authorities reach affected people sooner and reduce confusion during rescue or relief operations.
Visakhapatnam Boat Incident Reviewed
Referring to the recent fishing boat incident off the Visakhapatnam coast, where several fishermen were reported missing, the Chief Minister said such situations test the efficiency of the administration. He underlined the need for departments to exchange information quickly and work together without delay.
Naidu said the quality of the government’s response in emergencies is measured by the speed and effectiveness of coordination between agencies. He asked officials to review existing procedures and identify areas where response systems can be strengthened.
RTG Centre to Operate Round the Clock
The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that the Real-Time Governance Centre remains operational throughout the day and night. He said citizens should be able to receive support whenever they need it, particularly during accidents, natural disasters or other urgent situations.
The RTG platform is expected to play a wider role in monitoring public services, gathering feedback and helping departments respond to local concerns. Naidu said the system should be used to improve service delivery rather than remain limited to data collection.
AI Tools for Measuring Public Feedback
During the review, Naidu said the government is using artificial intelligence-based methods to assess citizen satisfaction in Chittoor district. He noted that field inspections by officials remain equally important because direct interaction with residents provides a clearer understanding of public concerns.
He said feedback collected through technology and field visits should be used together to improve government programmes. Senior officers were asked to regularly review local issues and ensure that public services are producing visible results.
Priority for Pending Grievance Applications
Naidu also directed officials to clear pending cases under the Public Grievance Redressal System on priority. He asked departments to prepare a detailed action plan for resolving applications across different categories.
District Collectors and senior officials were told to take direct responsibility for the disposal of unresolved grievances. The Chief Minister said administrative efforts should result in measurable improvements for citizens at the ground level.
