On the second floor, Arvind Jain, his wife Anita, their son Nishank, daughter-in-law Anchal, and their young son Akash lost their lives.
On the first floor, Shikha Jain was found deceased, while the third floor saw the deaths of Nitin Jain, his wife Shailey, and their son Samyak. Naveen Jain, Shikha’s husband, survived but sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

Rescue teams who entered the building after controlling the fire described an emotional scene inside one of the flats. Among the victims, Anchal was still clutching her young son, both of them having succumbed to the flames in that position. Calls for Help in the Last Moments
In the final minutes before the situation turned fatal, family members made desperate attempts to seek help. Anchal reportedly contacted her father, expressing fear that survival might not be possible. Nishank also reached out to a friend, explaining that the central locking system of their flat had malfunctioned, preventing them from escaping.
His brother Deepak later shared that Nishank had called him as well, pleading for assistance. Despite efforts to alert authorities and arrange help, the rescue did not reach in time. Deepak described the loss as unbearable, recalling Nishank’s dedication to his career as a chartered accountant and Anchal’s role as a bank manager. He spoke of their home as a lively place filled with warmth and positivity.
A Family’s Narrow Escape and Deep Loss
In a tragic twist, another branch of the family had travelled to Manesar at the time of the incident, thereby escaping the fire. However, their relief at being safe has been overshadowed by the loss of five close relatives who remained in the building. Relatives shared that the family originally hailed from Baghpat and had previously lived in Seelampur before moving to Vivek Vihar around nine years ago.
