Electoral Rolls – NTR District Steps Up Enumeration Form Digitisation
Electoral Rolls – NTR District Collector G Lakshmisha has directed election staff to give priority to the accurate digitisation of enumeration forms during the ongoing Summary Revision of electoral rolls. Reviewing the work on Sunday, he said the process must be completed carefully and within the prescribed guidelines so that the revised voter list remains reliable.

Field Inspection in Vijayawada Central
The Collector visited Sing Nagar and Devi Nagar, which fall under the Vijayawada Central Assembly constituency, to assess progress on the ground. He checked the status of form digitisation, examined the functioning of voter assistance desks and spoke with officials involved in the revision exercise.
During the inspection, Lakshmisha asked the teams to ensure that the forms received from voters are entered correctly into the system. He also instructed officials to resolve issues reported at help desks promptly and make the facilities accessible to residents who need assistance with the electoral roll process.
District Records Strong Form Distribution Progress
According to the district administration, 16,80,998 enumeration forms have been distributed so far, covering 98.11 per cent of the targeted voters in NTR district. Of these, 8,43,301 forms have been digitised, which represents 49.22 per cent of the total forms distributed.
The figures indicate that distribution has reached nearly all eligible households, while digitisation work is continuing across the district. The Collector stressed that the next stage requires close monitoring, particularly to prevent data-entry errors and avoid delays in uploading completed forms.
Tiruvuru Leads Digitisation Among Constituencies
Tiruvuru Assembly constituency has recorded the highest proportion of digitised forms at 65.50 per cent, with 1,36,700 forms entered into the system. Mylavaram followed with 1,69,551 forms digitised, reaching 59.46 per cent of its total.
In Nandigama, officials have digitised 1,16,272 forms, or 56.04 per cent. Jaggaiahpet has completed the digitisation of 1,01,073 forms, accounting for 48.70 per cent of the forms distributed there.
The progress in the Vijayawada constituencies remains comparatively lower. Vijayawada East has digitised 1,13,481 forms, or 42.07 per cent, while Vijayawada Central has completed 1,10,622 forms, reaching 39.82 per cent. Vijayawada West has digitised 95,602 forms, which is 37.20 per cent of the total.
Focus on Voter Awareness and Accuracy
Lakshmisha asked officials to increase public awareness about the availability of help desks. Voters should be encouraged to approach these centres for guidance, corrections and clarification related to their enumeration forms, he said.
He noted that proper verification at the field level is essential to maintain the quality of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officers and other staff have been asked to check entries thoroughly before final submission, especially where corrections or changes in voter details are involved.
Officials Asked to Follow Election Guidelines
The Collector reiterated that all personnel engaged in the revision work must act impartially and carry out their responsibilities with diligence. He said the exercise should be conducted strictly in accordance with the directions issued by the Election Commission.
With nearly half of the distributed forms already digitised, district officials are expected to intensify their work in constituencies where progress is slower. The administration aims to complete the Summary Revision process accurately while ensuring that voters can access support whenever required.
