Rahul Gandhi Raises Demands on Student Issues
Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also criticized the government’s handling of the education system. In a post on social media platform X, he alleged that the current administration had allowed the education system to deteriorate and had failed to hold those responsible accountable.
Gandhi further outlined what he described as the key demands being raised by students. These included the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a public apology to students, and action against individuals accused of assaulting protesting students.

The Centre has maintained that it is taking concrete steps to strengthen examination security and restore public confidence. According to the Prime Minister, the decision to introduce fast-track courts forms part of a broader effort to protect students from the impact of examination malpractice.
Modi said the government has directed officials to ensure strict enforcement of the law against those involved in paper leaks and emphasized that anyone attempting to damage the future of young people would face legal consequences.
