EducationReforms – Nationwide Student Protest Campaign Begins From Pune

EducationReforms – Growing dissatisfaction over reported issues in examination management has prompted the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) to launch a nationwide campaign focused on education reforms. On Thursday, party founder Abhijeet Dipke announced that the organization would unveil its education manifesto alongside the beginning of a countrywide protest movement calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Nationwide student protest begins pune

The first phase of the protest is scheduled to commence at the Savitribai Phule Pune University campus. Organizers have stated that the demonstration will remain peaceful and will be conducted in accordance with constitutional principles. Social and environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk is also expected to join the gathering in support of the initiative.

Education Manifesto To Highlight Key Student Concerns

Addressing reporters, Dipke said the newly prepared education manifesto is aimed at tackling several long-standing issues that have affected students across the country. According to him, the document outlines measures intended to strengthen examination systems and improve administrative accountability.

Among the key proposals are safeguards against question paper leaks, timely publication of examination results, greater transparency in recruitment and entrance tests, and stronger oversight of agencies responsible for conducting examinations. The manifesto also seeks solutions for students who have faced uncertainty due to delays and alleged irregularities in various competitive tests.

Protest Movement Planned Across Multiple Cities

CJP leaders indicated that the campaign will not remain limited to Pune. The organization plans to extend its outreach to several major cities in the coming days, including Jaipur, Lucknow, Amritsar and Bengaluru.

According to Dipke, the protest movement will eventually conclude with a gathering at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 20. He reiterated the group’s demand for accountability in the education system and maintained that the organization would continue its efforts until its concerns receive an official response.

Group Expresses Willingness For Dialogue

While maintaining a critical stance toward the government’s handling of examination-related matters, Dipke stated that the organization remains open to discussions with authorities. He alleged that instead of engaging with the group’s concerns, some of its social media accounts had been suspended.

The CJP founder argued that the issues raised by students and young job aspirants deserve serious attention. He urged policymakers to focus on the challenges faced by the youth rather than dismissing their concerns.

Rising Support Through Online Campaigns

Over recent weeks, the organization has attracted growing attention through social media outreach and awareness campaigns centered on examination-related grievances. The movement has increasingly positioned itself as a platform representing students and young people seeking reforms in educational and recruitment processes.

Supporters of the campaign have highlighted concerns regarding examination management, result delays and transparency in competitive tests. These issues have generated considerable discussion among students preparing for higher education admissions and government recruitment examinations.

Previous Demonstration Drew Participants From Across India

Earlier this month, the group organized a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The event brought together students and young participants from different parts of the country who called for greater accountability regarding alleged irregularities in competitive examinations.

During that gathering, participants raised concerns about examination processes and urged authorities to implement reforms aimed at restoring confidence in the system. The latest nationwide campaign is being presented as a continuation of those demands, with organizers seeking broader public engagement on education-related issues.
