Crime – A 90-year-old woman was found murdered inside her home in Bham village of the Chabbewal area, with police suspecting that the killing occurred during an attempted robbery.

Police have filed a First Information Report against a man identified as Daniel, who is also a resident of the same village. The case has been registered under Section 103, which pertains to punishment for murder, and Section 331(3), related to house trespass or house-breaking with the intent to commit an offence, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Officials stated that forensic teams were sent to the scene to collect evidence, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Initial findings suggest that the woman sustained fatal injuries during the attack.
