Regarding the fire incident that happened on Monday at Sarlankapalle village of Rowthulapudi mandal in Kakinada district, the Chief Minister convened a review meeting with ministers and authorities.

Over 100 individuals were left homeless when the big fire destroyed over 40 thatched dwellings. There were no recorded deaths or injuries.

According to the Chief Minister, the fire incident that occurred at Sarlankapalle during the Sankranti celebration has caused great sadness.

When all 38 of the village’s thatched homes were destroyed, he gave the order to help the victims as much as possible.

The aid being given to the impacted families at the moment was described by Home Minister V. Anitha and other authorities.

Chief Minister Naidu gave the order to provide the victims food and lodging so they wouldn’t have any problems.

Officials said that each impacted household is receiving an immediate relief payment of Rs 25,000.

For each family who lost their home, the Chief Minister mandated that a replacement home be approved.

He gave authorities instructions to provide them the housing they need and other support until the new homes are built.

In order to help provide replacement Aadhaar cards and other papers that were damaged in the fire, CM Naidu has directed authorities to set up special camps.

He said that ministers and top district authorities should keep an eye on the relief given to the victims.

In the meanwhile, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the president of the YSR Congress Party and a former chief minister, has expressed his profound shock and sorrow over the tragic fire incident.

He said that roughly 120 residents were left homeless and without even the most basic possessions after 38 homes in this isolated hamlet were totally destroyed.

He called the situation “extremely distressing,” describing how the fire spread like a wildfire and turned the whole community to ashes in a matter of minutes.

Jagan called on the government to make sure that no victim faces difficulty and to provide food and shelter to the impacted families right now.

He urged the government to approve new residences for everyone who lost their homes and requested that each afflicted family get an instant ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh.

He also urged that the victims be given the required housing and the necessary support until permanent homes are built and turned over.
