Incident Reported in Residential Area

The घटना took place बुधवार evening in Baba Hardeva Colony, located in the Jatoli area under the jurisdiction of Pataudi police station. The deceased, identified as Kunal, was found at his home under tragic circumstances. Authorities said initial findings suggest that he may have taken the step after feeling distressed over his examination scores.

A senior police officer stated that while the exact reason is still under investigation, early indications point to disappointment with his results as a possible factor. Officials have not ruled out other contributing circumstances and said a detailed inquiry is underway.

Family Describes Sudden Change in Behavior

According to family members, Kunal had prepared seriously for his exams and was expected to perform well. However, after the results were declared, he appeared upset, believing that his marks did not reflect his efforts.

His parents reportedly tried to reassure him and even suggested that he could appear for improvement exams if he wished. Despite these attempts, police said the teenager became increasingly withdrawn and emotionally affected.

Sequence of Events on the Day

Police said that after checking his results, Kunal went to a room on the terrace of his house while other family members remained downstairs. When he did not return for a prolonged period, his family grew concerned.

Upon going upstairs, they found the room locked from inside. After receiving no response, the door was forced open. Inside, Kunal was discovered hanging. Authorities were informed immediately, and a police team reached the location soon after.

Investigation and Official Response

The body was sent for postmortem examination to determine further details. Officials confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the scene, making it difficult to establish a clear motive at this stage.

Police have begun recording statements from family members and others who were in contact with the student. They emphasized that all angles will be examined before drawing any conclusions.

Background and Context

Kunal was a student of a private school, and his father works with the Indian Railways. According to sources, the family had even planned to reward him for his efforts, and a laptop had been ordered following the results announcement.

The incident highlights the intense emotional pressure that students may face during board examination result periods. Experts have often stressed the importance of open communication and support systems for young individuals coping with academic expectations.

Growing Concern Over Student Well-being

Cases like this have once again drawn attention to the need for mental health awareness among students, parents, and educators. While academic performance remains important, professionals continue to urge that emotional resilience and support should be given equal priority.

Authorities have appealed to families and schools to remain attentive to signs of distress among students, especially during critical academic milestones.
