Additionally, Gor highlighted India’s expected participation in the upcoming SelectUSA Summit, a platform designed to promote foreign investment in the United States. He noted that Indian pharmaceutical companies are increasingly investing in the US market, which could enhance competition and strengthen supply chains in the healthcare sector.

Security Cooperation and Law Enforcement Coordination

Gor’s meetings also extended to security matters, including a discussion with FBI Director Kash Patel. The conversation focused on joint efforts to address transnational challenges such as cybercrime, drug trafficking, and illegal networks.

He emphasized the importance of coordinated action between India and the United States in tackling these threats, noting a strong alignment in their security priorities. Gor also commended the FBI’s recent performance, citing improvements in law enforcement outcomes and reductions in certain categories of crime.
