The leaders exchanged views on major regional developments and ongoing initiatives intended to strengthen stability across the Middle East.
Egypt Expands Diplomatic Contacts
During a telephone conversation held on Sunday, President Sisi said Cairo has been actively communicating with multiple stakeholders involved in the ongoing dialogue between Washington and Tehran. He noted that Egypt is working to encourage progress toward a broad agreement that could help reduce friction between the two countries and contribute to regional security.
