RamKapoor – Actress Akanksha Chaudhary has spoken in support of actor Ram Kapoor after online criticism emerged over his way of greeting female contestants on the reality show Lock Upp. According to Akanksha, she never witnessed any behavior from Ram Kapoor that made contestants feel uncomfortable during her time on the show.
Akanksha, who was recently eliminated from Lock Upp, shared her views while speaking about the controversy that gained momentum after several clips from the show circulated on social media. Akanksha Shares Her Personal Experience
Explaining her perspective, Akanksha said she interacted with Ram Kapoor regularly inside the house and never experienced or observed any conduct that she considered inappropriate. Akanksha recalled an incident in which Shreya Kalra reportedly commented in front of actress Shilpa Shinde that Ram Kapoor kissed her more often than her own father. According to Akanksha, Shilpa immediately responded by saying that the gesture should not be viewed in an inappropriate manner.
She further stated that Shreya herself clarified during the same discussion that she was not accusing Ram Kapoor of any misconduct. Instead, she was only referring to the fact that he greeted her in that manner repeatedly. Akanksha described the overall conversation as casual and said there was no indication at the time that Shreya was distressed by the greetings.
