Entertainment – Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan recently spent time with reality television star Shiv Thakare and his family during a visit to his home, where she experienced authentic Maharashtrian hospitality and homemade dishes prepared by his grandmother.
The visit was part of a shoot for Farah Khan’s celebrity cooking vlog series, which often features candid moments with well-known personalities and their families. Shiv later shared glimpses from the gathering on social media, posting photographs and short videos that captured the warm atmosphere inside his home.

Several pictures shared online showed Farah posing alongside Shiv, his mother, and his grandmother, lovingly referred to by the family as “Aaji.” The filmmaker appeared comfortable and cheerful while interacting with the family members during the informal home visit.
One of the videos featured Farah enjoying a traditional Maharashtrian meal that included bhakri, pitla, and aamras. The simple yet flavorful spread reflected the region’s rich culinary traditions and added a personal touch to the episode.
Farah was visibly delighted while tasting the dishes and praised the food prepared by Shiv’s grandmother. During the interaction, she remarked that not everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy meals cooked with such affection by a grandmother. Apart from the lunch, Shiv’s family also prepared homemade snacks and condiments for Farah to carry back with her. In another clip shared online, Shiv’s mother was seen packing spicy thecha along with laddus for the filmmaker.
The visit also included light-hearted conversations between the host and guest. Shiv jokingly asked his mother whether she expected Farah to return the steel containers after taking the food home. He humorously referred to how protective Indian mothers often are about their kitchen utensils and tiffin boxes.
Joining in on the fun, Farah laughed and assured the family that the containers would definitely be returned. The playful exchange quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the vlog snippets shared online.

Farah Khan and Shiv Thakare developed a close friendship during Shiv’s appearance on the popular reality show Bigg Boss 16. During the season, Shiv also formed a strong connection with filmmaker Sajid Khan, Farah’s brother, who participated in the show as a fellow contestant.
Since then, Farah has often shown support for Shiv on social media and in public appearances. Their latest interaction once again highlighted the comfort and warmth they share off-screen.
