Entertainment – Divyenndu Explains His Idea of Success Beyond Fame
Entertainment – For actor Divyenndu, success in the entertainment industry is not measured by fame, numbers, or public attention. Instead, he believes true achievement lies in personal satisfaction and being honest with one’s work.

A Personal Definition of Success
Speaking about what “glory” means to him, Divyenndu shared that his priorities are rooted in self-approval rather than external applause. According to him, the ability to look at his own performance without discomfort is where real fulfillment begins. He explained that if he can complete a project, return home with a clear mind, and watch himself on screen without feeling uneasy, that itself is a meaningful accomplishment. While appreciation from audiences is welcome, it remains secondary to his own sense of contentment.
Journey From Early Roles to Recognition
Divyenndu first gained attention with his role in the 2011 comedy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. His portrayal of Nishant “Liquid” Agarwal stood out for its energetic and emotional tone, making him a recognizable face among younger audiences. Over the years, he appeared in films like Chashme Baddoor and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, gradually building his presence in the industry.
However, it was his performance as Munna Bhaiya in the popular series Mirzapur that significantly elevated his career. The character, known for its complexity and intensity, earned him widespread recognition and brought him closer to mainstream success.
Staying Grounded Amid Industry Noise
Despite rising popularity, Divyenndu remains focused on the essence of his craft. He noted that the entertainment world often gets overwhelmed with distractions such as visibility, trends, and public perception. In his view, too much attention is given to these external factors, which can overshadow the core purpose of storytelling.
He emphasized that artists should concentrate on the quality of their work rather than the surrounding noise. According to him, if the foundation of the work is strong, everything else will naturally fall into place. But if the core lacks authenticity, no amount of external polish can compensate for it.
Upcoming Series Explores Intense Boxing World
Divyenndu is set to appear next in the series Glory, which explores the demanding and often harsh world of professional boxing. The story begins with the mysterious death of Nihal Singh, a promising athlete seen as India’s hope for an Olympic medal. The narrative then unfolds within a competitive and high-pressure environment, highlighting both ambition and the darker realities of the sport.
The series features an ensemble cast including Pulkit Samrat, Suvinder Vicky, Jannat Zubair, Ashutosh Rana, Sikandar Kher, Kunal Thakur, Sayani Gupta, Yashpal Sharma, and Kashmira Pardeshi. With its intense backdrop and layered storytelling, the show aims to present a deeper look into the lives of athletes and the system surrounding them.
Film Release on the Horizon
On the film front, Divyenndu will also be seen in Mirzapur: The Movie, scheduled for release on September 4. The film continues the story set in the crime-driven landscape of Mirzapur, focusing on power struggles and the dynamics of its central characters. The narrative revolves around Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, a dominant figure in the region, whose influence shapes the events unfolding in the story.
Focus Remains on Craft
Through his journey, Divyenndu continues to underline the importance of authenticity in performance. Rather than chasing visibility, he remains committed to choosing roles that align with his creative instincts. His perspective offers a reminder that, even in an industry driven by metrics and popularity, personal integrity and satisfaction still hold lasting value.
