The Jonas Brothers’ Rise to Fame
Nick and Joe Jonas rose to international prominence alongside their brother Kevin as members of the Jonas Brothers. The pop-rock group released its debut studio album, It’s About Time, through Columbia Records in 2006.
The band gained a particularly strong following through Disney Channel projects. Their popularity grew after appearances in Camp Rock in 2008 and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, released in 2010.
The brothers also featured in their own television projects, including Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, which ran from 2008 to 2010, and Jonas, which aired from 2009 to 2010.
A Little Bit Longer Strengthened Their Popularity
The group’s commercial success continued with the release of A Little Bit Longer in 2008. The album performed strongly and included the popular single “Burnin’ Up,” which became one of the band’s notable songs during that period.
The Jonas Brothers later announced a hiatus before pursuing separate musical projects. Joe Jonas moved into a solo career and released his debut studio album, Fastlife, in 2011.
Joe Jonas Later Formed DNCE
Following the Jonas Brothers’ split in 2013, which was linked to creative differences, Joe Jonas continued exploring a different musical direction.
In 2015, he formed the funk-pop group DNCE and became its lead vocalist. The band achieved major commercial attention with its debut single, “Cake by the Ocean,” which went on to become one of its best-known tracks.
Priyanka Chopra’s Next Film Project
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is set to appear in S. S. Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi. The project features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Chopra.
Mahesh Babu is set to portray a dual role in the film, while Chopra is part of the central cast. The story follows Rudhra and unfolds against a large-scale adventure involving the city of Varanasi and the threat posed by an approaching asteroid.
The narrative is also expected to move across multiple timelines, adding a broader dimension to the film’s storyline. The project has attracted considerable attention because of the combination of Rajamouli’s direction and its prominent international cast.
