Bhogapuram Airport -The inauguration of Bhogapuram International Airport has been presented by the Andhra Pradesh government as a significant milestone for regional development, with Infrastructure and Investments Minister BC Janardhan Reddy stating that the project became a reality due to the long-term vision and leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The minister, in a statement released on Sunday, described the airport’s inauguration as a historic occasion for the state. He expressed appreciation to the residents of North Andhra who attended the ceremony in large numbers and contributed to the success of the event. The minister also criticised recent social media posts by YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding the project. He said such claims were not convincing to the public, alleging that those now seeking recognition had earlier contributed to delays in the airport’s development. According to the minister, people were well aware of the project’s history and the efforts that ultimately led to its completion.
