The move is aimed at ensuring quicker legal action against those accused of compromising the future of students while reinforcing confidence in the country’s recruitment and education processes.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday reiterated that protecting the ambitions and hard work of young people remains one of the government’s key priorities. BJP leader Nitin Nabin said the administration, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is determined to safeguard the interests of students and ensure that individuals responsible for damaging their future face strict legal consequences.
Government Reaffirms Commitment to Students
In a message shared on X, Nabin stated that the government remains firmly focused on preserving the dreams and opportunities of the country’s youth. He said every effort would be made to protect students who prepare honestly for competitive examinations and academic opportunities.
According to him, those involved in offences such as examination paper leaks undermine the efforts of millions of deserving candidates. He stressed that such actions would not be tolerated and that the administration is committed to ensuring accountability through stronger legal mechanisms.

BJP Member of Parliament Madan Rathore also expressed support for the government’s decision, saying that strict punishment is essential to prevent such offences. Speaking to ANI, Rathore said action is already being taken against those found responsible for examination-related irregularities.
He noted that stronger laws and effective enforcement are necessary to discourage criminal networks involved in paper leaks. According to Rathore, creating fear of legal consequences is important to protect honest students and preserve the credibility of competitive examinations.
