Movie – Production on the upcoming horror-comedy musical Eat Your Heart Out has officially concluded, with the project now moving through post-production. Featuring Tania Raymonde in the lead role, the film blends horror, comedy and live music while following a bizarre outbreak that turns a quiet community into a terrifying battleground.
The upcoming feature stars Tania Raymonde alongside Brian Austin Green, Steve Agee and Breanna Yde, with several well-known actors joining the supporting cast. Directed and written by Taylor Morden, the film takes inspiration from real-life reports involving dangerous synthetic drugs and builds a fictional story around a small town preparing for a major music festival.
Story Centers on a Dangerous Drug Outbreak
Set against the backdrop of an eagerly awaited music event, the story follows a community whose celebrations are interrupted by the rapid spread of a newly emerged party drug among local teenagers. While the substance initially promises an intense euphoric experience, it quickly unleashes disturbing consequences.
Those affected become consumed by violent rage, gain extraordinary physical strength and develop a horrifying craving for human flesh. As panic spreads across the town, survival becomes the only priority for its residents.
Friendship and Music Drive the Narrative
At the heart of the film are best friends Jules and Rory, portrayed by Tania Raymonde and Breanna Yde. The pair are preparing for the biggest performance of their punk band when their hometown descends into chaos.
Instead of focusing only on escaping danger, the story also explores the bond between the two friends as they balance their dream of performing on stage with the desperate fight to stay alive amid a growing wave of flesh-eating attackers.

Speaking about her experience, Raymonde said the project allowed her to combine two long-held ambitions in a single production. She explained that performing as a musician while also taking part in a zombie-style horror film was an opportunity she had always hoped for.
According to the actor, the combination of playing music, portraying a rock performer and battling terrifying creatures made the production especially enjoyable and unlike most roles she has taken on before.

The cast also includes Jesse Rath, Emily Kimball, Rob Huebel, Clare Grant and Brendan Sexton III, adding further depth to the ensemble.
Taylor Morden directed the feature from a screenplay he developed with Emily Claire. Both also serve as producers on the project. Executive producers include Tania Raymonde, Jaice DuMars and Robert Trevino, helping oversee the film’s development from production through completion.

Produced by PopMotion Pictures, Eat Your Heart Out places a strong emphasis on practical special effects instead of relying heavily on computer-generated visuals. Filming took place over a five-week schedule in and around Eugene, Oregon, where the production recreated the fictional town that serves as the setting for the unusual blend of horror and comedy.

Morden described the project as a celebration of the kinds of films he has always enjoyed watching. He said the movie combines practical creature effects, offbeat humor, energetic musical performances and an emotional story about friendship and personal growth.
He added that the film reflects the type of entertainment he would have repeatedly rented from a neighborhood video store, blending nostalgic influences with a modern horror-comedy approach. The production is currently in post-production, with further release details expected at a later stage.
