Rajasthan BJP Chief Marks Milestone with Temple Visit

Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore visited the Jharkhan Mahadev Temple in Jaipur on Wednesday to offer prayers as Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history. Speaking on the occasion, Rathore praised Modi’s leadership and described the past twelve years as a transformative phase for the country.

According to Rathore, the Prime Minister has completed 4,399 consecutive days in office, a tenure he said has been dedicated to advancing national development, improving public welfare, and enhancing India’s standing on the global stage.

Focus on Infrastructure and Self-Reliance

Highlighting key achievements of the central government, Rathore said India has made substantial progress in strengthening domestic manufacturing and boosting self-reliance, particularly in the defence sector. He noted that efforts to reduce dependence on imports have contributed to the country’s strategic capabilities and economic resilience.

He also pointed to large-scale investments in railway infrastructure, including modernization projects and widespread electrification. These initiatives, he said, have improved transportation networks, increased efficiency, and supported economic activity in various regions of the country.

Welfare Schemes Reach Millions

Rathore emphasized that several government programmes launched during Modi’s tenure have expanded access to essential services for citizens. He cited the Ayushman Bharat healthcare initiative and the PM-Kisan income support scheme as examples of welfare measures that have benefited millions of families.

He further stated that the government’s approach has focused on delivering benefits directly to eligible recipients, reducing administrative delays and limiting the role of intermediaries in the distribution process.

Managing Challenges During Global Uncertainty

Speaking about governance during difficult international conditions, Rathore said India was able to maintain fuel availability despite disruptions affecting global markets. He credited policy planning and administrative coordination for helping the country navigate economic challenges while protecting consumer interests.

The BJP leader added that the government’s response to changing global circumstances reflected its commitment to maintaining stability and ensuring that essential resources remained accessible to citizens.

Industrial Expansion and Employment Opportunities

Rathore also highlighted growth in the industrial sector, stating that increased investment and business activity have contributed to job creation and economic expansion. He said development-oriented policies have helped strengthen India’s growth trajectory and encouraged greater participation across different sectors of the economy.

According to him, sustained efforts to improve infrastructure, support industries, and expand welfare coverage have collectively contributed to broader economic progress over the past decade.

National Security Remains a Key Priority

Addressing the issue of security, Rathore referred to military actions such as surgical strikes carried out by Indian forces during Modi’s tenure. He said these operations demonstrated the government’s commitment to protecting national interests and responding firmly to security threats.

He maintained that safeguarding the country’s sovereignty has remained a central element of the government’s policy approach, alongside development and welfare initiatives.
