The delegation was led by Congressman Josh Gottheimer, a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. During the UAE leg of the trip, he held meetings with senior Emirati leaders, including Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Following the meetings, Gottheimer highlighted the strong relationship between Washington and Abu Dhabi, describing the UAE as a valued partner in addressing regional and global challenges. He also expressed appreciation for the hospitality extended to the delegation during its stay.
