Crime Investigation – Delhi Police Crack Security Guard Murder Case Quickly
Crime Investigation – A major breakthrough has emerged in the killing of a 60-year-old security guard in west Delhi, where police arrested four suspects, including two minors, within two days of the incident.

Police Probe Uncovers Alleged Murder Plot
The Outer Delhi Police have solved the case linked to the death of Bijender, a security guard who was found dead near a tempo stand in the Peeragarhi area during the early hours of Saturday. Officials said the accused allegedly attempted to disguise the killing as a traffic accident in an effort to divert suspicion.
According to investigators, the suspects removed the number plate of the vehicle involved before carrying out the act. The Fastag device was also reportedly taken off to avoid electronic tracking by law enforcement agencies during the investigation.
Police stated that the incident initially appeared to be a road accident after a PCR call was received at Paschim Vihar West police station around 4:03 AM. Officers who arrived at the location found the victim lying unconscious on the roadside.
CCTV Footage Became Key Evidence
During the forensic examination of the scene, police noticed tyre skid marks on the road, which raised doubts about the nature of the incident. Following this observation, officers began examining CCTV footage collected from nearby areas.
The surveillance recordings reportedly revealed that the victim was deliberately run over twice by a four-wheeler. Investigators believe this evidence played a crucial role in identifying the accused and reconstructing the sequence of events.
Officials confirmed that four people have been apprehended in connection with the case, including two juveniles. Further investigation is currently underway to determine the complete motive and involvement of each accused person.
Family Claims Incident Was Pre-Planned
The victim’s son, Ravi, has strongly alleged that his father’s death was not accidental but part of a planned attack. Speaking about the incident, he said the family received information around 3:30 AM that Bijender had suffered an accident.
“When we reached the spot, we saw my father lying dead on the road,” Ravi said while describing the events of that morning.
He also mentioned that Bijender had been employed as a security guard for nearly two years and had undergone leg surgery some time ago, which made him physically vulnerable.
Allegations of Assault Before Vehicle Attack
Ravi further claimed that several individuals allegedly stepped out of a vehicle and attacked his father with sticks before running him over. According to his statement, the same vehicle was then used to crush the victim.
The family believes the attack was carefully planned and not a random act of violence. Police have not yet publicly confirmed these specific allegations but said all angles related to the murder are being examined.
Investigation Continues in Peeragarhi Case
Authorities are continuing to collect evidence and question the accused to establish the complete chain of events leading to Bijender’s death. Police officials said technical surveillance and CCTV footage were important in solving the case within 48 hours.
The incident has raised concerns over violent crimes in parts of the national capital, especially attempts to disguise criminal acts as road accidents. Investigators are expected to submit further details as the inquiry progresses.
