HinduACTion : is organizing a minority briefing on Capitol Hill
HinduACTion : will host a congressional briefing on Capitol Hill to draw attention to what it describes as the trafficking, forced conversions, and persecution of Christian, Hindu, and other religious minorities in Pakistan.

According to a media release on Sunday, the briefing “Our Lost Daughters of Sindh” is intended for members of Congress, congressional staff, representatives from the US State Department and National Security Council, human rights activists, and organizations that combat human trafficking.
The briefing, according to its organizers, will portray what they call an underreported human rights catastrophe in South Asia by combining historical documents, artwork, testimonies, and documentary proof.
A graphic display on the millennia-long history of Hindus in Pakistan is part of the event. Additionally, Kiran Chukkapalli’s immersive art display, which portrays the hardships of Hindu immigrants escaping persecution, will be included.
A documentary made by Indus Valley Minorities and testimonies from Pakistani human rights advocates are planned. The forced conversions and trafficking of Hindus, Christians, and other religious minorities in Pakistan are the main subjects of the movie.
Utsav Chakrabarti, executive director of HinduACTion, said, “This briefing is intended to move policymakers beyond statistics and headlines.”
HinduACTion asked attendees to invite their local elected representatives to the briefing so they may come and give a speech.
To draw attention to the violence against Hindus and other minority groups in Bangladesh, leaders of the severeal movement announced on Sunday that a countrywide peaceful demonstration would take place in US cities on January 31.
People of all religions and origins are welcome to attend the event, which is being characterized as a humanitarian and non-political human rights movement.
