Patna : As police begin their investigation, the civil court received a bomb threat letter, and the buildings were evacuated
Patna: After an email threatened to blow up the Patna Civil Court, a high alert was issued in Patna on Thursday. As a precaution, the court grounds were immediately evacuated after receiving the startling news. To guarantee safety, attorneys, employees, and guests were quickly evacuated. Teams from the bomb disposal squad, the dog squad, and the Pirbahore police station hurried to the scene after receiving the warning.

Authorities stated that no suspicious devices or items were found during the investigation, and they investigated the whole court facility. Security has been increased across the property even though the threat was later proven to be a fake.
Police are looking into the email’s origin.
To find out where the threatening email came from, authorities have opened an inquiry. To find the sender, police are examining CCTV video and analyzing digital traces. Senior authorities have promised that there would be severe consequences for any effort to incite fear or interfere with the operation of the court. Interestingly, the Patna civil court received a similar threat in October of last year. Officials added that after a comprehensive search of the whole court grounds, no suspicious items were discovered.
A bomb threat before the district court in Kasaragod
According to police, the district court in Kasaragod also got a bomb threat on Thursday, which prompted the facility to be evacuated so that the grounds could be inspected. The district court’s official email account received the threat at about eleven in the morning. “The court complex was evacuated right away, and the bomb squad was sent in to do inspections. He said that in the event that the threat turns out to be a hoax, the District Police Chief has directed that a case be filed and an inquiry be started. After the court building was evacuated, one of the attorneys outside said to a television station that the email originated in Tamil Nadu. According to the attorney, the cops were doing an inspection and requested everyone to leave the courtroom.
