PM Narendra Modi: expressed sorrow at the untimely death of Agnivesh Agarwal, the son of Vedanta Group chairman Anil Agarwal. After a skiing mishap in the United States, the 49-year-old passed away from a heart attack.

“It is very sad and shocking that Shri Agnivesh Agarwal passed away so quickly,” PM Modi tweeted on X. Anil Agarwal, head of the Vedanta Group, called it the “darkest” day of his life. “Agnivesh, my cherished son, departed from us way too soon. He was just 49 years old, healthy, energetic, and full of dreams. He was recuperating well at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after a skiing accident in the United States. We thought the worst was over. However, destiny had other ideas, and our kid was taken from us by a sudden heart arrest,” Agarwal said on X.

In response to Anil Agarwal’s message, PM Modi said, “This heartfelt tribute demonstrates the depth of your grief.” I’m hoping you and your family continue to have bravery and strength. The Prime Minister wrote, “Om Shanti.”

More than 75% of our earnings would be returned to society, as I had promised Agni,” Anil Agarwal said.
