Kiran Rao : was been brought to the hospital for surgery on his appendix. But the name on her wristband for ward and hospital access was what attracted attention.
The director posted a number of images and videos from her treatment at a metropolitan hospital on Instagram on Sunday. She may be seen grinning for the camera in her room in the photos.
She wore a wristband that said, “Kiran Aamir Rao Khan.” She wrote a lengthy statement on her stay throughout the therapy in the caption as well.
She stated, “My appendix reminded me to calm down, take a deep breath, and express gratitude just as I was about to party my way into 2026. I am very appreciative to contemporary medicine (I still don’t understand how the whole 12 mm diameter appendix came out via a 10.5 mm catheter; thank God I’m not a doctor), Doctor Kayomarz Kapadia and the entire surgical team, Ira, Popeye, and Shefali for the fun hospital stay and TLC, and the hospital’s excellent care. Sadly, my friends and family, who primarily came to make fun of my full lips due to an allergic reaction, are now back to their usual, unglam selves. Now that I’ve been released from the hospital, I’m at home and prepared to start the new year slowly.
I hope 2026 will be nice, enjoyable, full of love, and, most importantly, have better AQI for everyone. 2025 has been wonderful to me and mine. On December 28, 2005, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao were married in a low-key ceremony at Aamir’s Mumbai residence. Over the years, they forged a strong professional and personal relationship after meeting on the sets of Lagaan (2001), where Kiran served as an assistant director.
