Rajesh Khanna: On the 83rd anniversary of his birth, Jackie Shroff honors “Kaka”
Rajesh Khanna: Veteran actor Jackie Shroff dedicated the famous song “Chala Jata Hoon” from the 1972 classic “Mere Jeevan Saathi” in remembrance of Rajesh Khanna on Monday, the 83rd anniversary of the late star’s birth.
Jackie posted a series of pictures of the actor, who was regarded as the first Superstar of Hindi film, on his Instagram stories. The song “Chala Jata Hoon” from the 1972 hit “Mere Jeevan Saathi” was playing in the backdrop of the video.
Jackie put the following as the caption: “Always in our hearts… Honoring Rajesh Khanna ji on the occasion of his birth

On July 18, 2012, he passed away in his Mumbai house, Aashirwad. Since receiving a cancer diagnosis in July 2011, his health has been declining.
