The prime minister commented on the central government’s different reform proposals in a number of postings.

“Our government is dedicated to improving “Ease of Living,” and the thread below provides examples of our efforts in that regard. In the next years, we will pursue our reform agenda with much more vigor,” Modi said.

The federal government said in postings using the hashtags #ReformInAction & #GoodGovernance that the true measure of reform is if it lessens people’s stress and that 2025 represented a distinct change in governance, with changes centered on results rather than complexity.

Decriminalized compliance, current labor regulations, quicker dispute settlement, and simpler tax rules all decreased conflict for both individuals and companies.

According to the articles by MyGovIndia, the focus was on long-term development, predictability, and trust, demonstrating how well crafted policies can subtly enhance daily living.

The respite from taxes became a reality for millions of Indians. There is no tax on incomes up to Rs 12 lakh.

According to the report, middle-class families now keep a larger portion of their income, which allows them to spend, save, and invest more confidently.

It claimed that the Income Tax Act of 2025 made the direct tax system more taxpayer-friendly and in accordance with modern demands by streamlining compliance and bringing clarity, transparency, and justice to the system.

Now, small enterprises may expand without worrying about losing advantages.

MSMEs may grow while still having access to financing and tax breaks thanks to higher investment and turnover limitations.

This promotes expanding, bringing on additional staff, and creating more robust local businesses. Employment in rural areas today generates assets in addition to earnings.

According to the report, rural workers are increasingly creating long-lasting assets that support livelihoods and communities via prolonged guaranteed employment and an emphasis on village infrastructure.

It noted that 29 labor regulations were streamlined into four unambiguous rules that addressed pay, safety, social security, and relationships, eliminating the need for workers to traverse dozens of laws.

It said that women gain from guaranteed maternity and workplace safeguards, rights are more transparent, and compliance is simpler.

Additionally, the government said that GST has been simplified for both consumers and enterprises.

The latest phase of GST changes is making it easier to conduct business with simplified tax slabs, simpler registration, automated procedures, and quicker refunds.

According to the report, the effect is seen in the highest Navratri shopping in more than ten years and record Diwali sales of Rs 6.05 trillion.

Additionally, it said that companies may now launch items more quickly.

Indian manufacturers will benefit from reduced compliance costs, increased productivity, and increased competitiveness in international markets because to rationalized Quality Control Orders.

The government said in the tweets that Indian companies had more space to expand.

It also said that businesses with sales up to Rs 100 crore were able to concentrate on innovation and growth since the broader definition of small businesses decreased the stress and expense of compliance.
