Sleazebags: In a Christmas message, Trump attacks Democrats over their Epstein files, claiming that they severed their connections with a sexual offender “long before it became fashionable.”

Sleazebags: Washington, DC [US] In a Christmas message, US President Donald Trump attacked Democrats over the Jeffrey Epstein-related documents that the US Department of Justice is still releasing under the transparency act. He said that he broke off his relationship with the convicted sex offender long before it became “fashionable” to do so.

In his post on Truth Social, Trump called the Democrats and some media outlets “sleazebags” and claimed that some politicians who had previously hung out with Epstein “dropped him like a dog” when the controversy surrounding him grew, accusing him of being the cause.

“Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth, only to ‘drop him like a dog’ when things got too HOT, falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him, didn’t know him, said he was a disgusting person, and then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so,” tweeted Trump.

Trump said that there would be “a lot of explaining to do” after names emerged from what he called a “ongoing Radical Left Witch Hunt,” claiming that the majority of individuals now under investigation are Democrats.

In addition, the US president once again attacked the media, calling out The New York Times as “failing” and accusing it of disseminating false information in the past. He said the media outlet was compelled to issue an apology for its faulty reporting and lost subscribers as a consequence.

“When their names get brought out in the ongoing Radical Left Witch Hunt (plus one lowlife “Republican”, Massie!), and it is revealed that they are Democrats all, there will be a lot of explaining to do, much like there was when it was made public that the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax was a fictitious story – a total Scam – and had nothing to do with “TRUMP”. Trump said, “The Failing New York Times, among many others, was forced to apologize for their bad and faulty Election ‘Reporting,’ even to the fact that they lost many subscribers because of their extremely inaccurate (FAKE!) coverage.”

Trump said that “corrupt Democrat politics” will harm the reputations of innocent individuals, drawing comparisons between previous scandals and the present scrutiny on Epstein.

Trump wished his detractors a “last Merry Christmas” at the end of the fiercely worded message.

“Now that the same losers are back at it, many of their friends—the majority of whom are innocent—will suffer severe injuries and have their reputations damaged. But regrettably, in the world of corrupt Democratic politics, it is the reality! Have fun on what may be your last Merry Christmas! Trump wrote in his post.

Trump’s tweet coincided with heightened scrutiny of Epstein’s friends after the DOJ released court records pertaining to the late sexual offender.

Epstein had ties to many prominent people in business, entertainment, and politics. He passed away in prison in 2019 while awaiting prosecution.

Throughout the whole affair, Trump’s name has been used several times. He has, however, disassociated himself from Epstein prior to the scandal’s full eruption and denied any misconduct.

A million more records “potentially related” to Epstein were recently discovered, and the DOJ had previously published a number of documents pertaining to the late sexual offender.

These materials will be made public in the next weeks, according to the DOJ.

CNN said that as of Sunday AM (local time), at least 16 files—including a picture of Trump—that were made public in the DOJ’s batch of Jeffrey Epstein records had been taken down from the website.

The Southern District of New York flagged the records to protect victims, and the DOJ later republished them after briefly removing them for review.
