At the meeting, CM Naidu emphasized the overwhelmingly positive response from investors at the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, where top Indian and international businesses showed a great desire to invest in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, energy, and services.

He pointed out that investor trust has been greatly bolstered by Andhra Pradesh’s development-focused plan, open governance, and aggressive initiatives.

Along with analyzing recent events, political dynamics, and new challenges in the state, the Chief Minister and the Union Home Minister also spoke about current political developments in Andhra Pradesh.

Following his meeting with Amit Shah, CM Naidu went to the CREDAI National Conclave, where he spoke with prominent figures in the real estate industry and presented the state’s investment prospects and urban development strategy.

CM Naidu also met with Union Roadways Minister Nitin Gadkari, according to an official statement here, and asked the Center to improve national highway connection to the state’s capital area, Amaravati, by connecting it with important cities around the nation.

The Chief Minister acknowledged that road connection has emerged as a crucial factor in regional development and economic advancement, and he praised Minister Gadkari’s persistent efforts to modernize and extend India’s national highway network.

In order to facilitate long-term development, mobility, efficient logistics, and inter-city connection, Amaravati, a newly developed greenfield capital city, needs both direct and indirect integration with the national highway system, according to CM Naidu. In order to hasten Amaravati’s development, he asked the Union Minister to give priority to these connections.

The CM’s planned 6-lane iconic cable-stayed bridge across the Krishna River at Muktyala–Mulapadu was a hot topic of conversation. Through the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), CM Naidu requested the Center to begin building this bridge.

CM went on to say that the famous six-lane bridge will link Amaravati to three important national roads, providing easy access to the coastline road corridor, the Chennai–Kolkata highway, and the Vijayawada–Hyderabad corridor. By connecting Amaravati with the planned Hyderabad–Amaravati greenfield highway, the bridge would also allow for high-speed travel between the two important cities.

According to the Chief Minister, these enhanced links will greatly shorten residents’ travel times, boost logistics flow, and turn Amaravati into a vital logistics node and mobility center within the national highway network.

CM Naidu asked the Union Minister to provide full central assistance for the construction of the six-lane iconic bridge, describing it as a crucial infrastructure project for the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
