Yogi Adityanath: assault on the opposition: “Robberies flourish in the dark, and UP had no power supply prior to 2017”

Yogi Adityanath: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in full electoral gear as the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections get near. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unleashed a vicious assault on the opposition throughout the political build-up, criticizing past administrations for the state’s governance record and power dynamics. Uttar Pradesh has almost no power supply before to 2017, according to Chief Minister Yogi’s remarks on the state’s electrical grid. Because thefts occur in the dark, previous regimes favored darkness. One of the most significant developments in the state since 2017 has been the consistent availability of electricity,” he said.

“It is necessary to voice objections to phony names.”
The Chief Minister said, “The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list is under progress. You may assert that 98% of the task is finished, but it is untrue. Speaking to party employees, he said that each polling station serves between 200 and 250 families, and it is their duty to make sure the SIR job is done correctly. He said that certain Bangladeshis’ names had been added to ballots by the opposition. He emphasized that such disparities need to be thoroughly examined, citing an instance in which the son was classified as 20, the father as 30, and the grandpa as 40. He called on employees to protest to phony names and make sure that the excluded are added to the voter list.

Call to add missing votes and protest phony names
According to the chief minister, the opposition has introduced phony voters, including some who are identified as Bangladeshis. He urged employees to spot such disparities by citing odd instances in which a son’s age was stated as 20, the father’s as 30, and the grandfather’s as 40. In order to guarantee that legitimate voters who were overlooked be included to the list, he ordered party employees to protest to fraudulent submissions.

“Uttar Pradesh is missing four crore voters.”
With a population of almost 25 crore, Uttar Pradesh should ideally have 64% of votes, according to Chief Minister Yogi. Approximately four crore voters are now absent from the voting records, he said. He emphasized that elections are won at the booth level and stated that most of the absent votes are BJP supporters. Additionally, the Chief Minister said that Assamese addresses were used to register voters in Sambhal. He said that in order to guarantee free and fair elections, such anomalies must be found and fixed throughout the review process.

Pankaj Chaudhary, the new president of the UP BJP, emphasizes the party culture.
Pankaj Chaudhary, the recently chosen president of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, said at the same occasion that the party opposes caste-based and dynasty politics. He said that anybody can become a prominent official in the BJP. Speaking about his own experience, Pankaj Chaudhary said that he had been an MP seven times after being awarded a Lok Sabha ticket from Maharajganj in 1991 at the age of 26. He said that his present position is the most difficult one he has ever taken on.

“The foundation of the party is its workforce.”
Chaudhary emphasized the value of party workers and promised to constantly support, defend, and hear their concerns. According to him, being a leader entails listening to everyone, working through issues, and advancing as a team. A party worker never becomes former, he said, but a person in a position may.
