fitness influencer death: After a fast weight gain experiment, a fitness influencer passes away while sleeping. What went wrong
fitness influencer death:Fitness instructor and social media influencer Dmitry Nuyanzin, from Orenburg, Russia, died at the age of 30 while trying what he thought was a daring fitness “experiment.”

A tragic cardiac arrest resulted from what started as a public challenge to acquire a significant amount of weight rapidly and then reduce it as part of a weight-loss program demonstration.
An unsuccessful weight-gain challenge
According to reports, Dmitry consumed a lot of junk food for many weeks, often over 10,000 calories daily. His diet, which was made public on social media, consisted of half a cake and pastries for morning, large servings of dumplings slathered in mayonnaise for lunch, burgers and many pizzas for supper, and chips or crisps for snacks throughout the day.
His declared objective was to put on at least 50 pounds (22–25 kg) and then use his own fitness and nutrition regimen to publicly display a quick “before-and-after” makeover. He apparently gained more than 13 kg in only one month and weighed over 100 kg (231 lbs) by November 18.
When risk and ambition clashed
The toll on his physique quickly became apparent, despite his confident online promotion of the challenge, which included a $1,000 prize for followers who used his regimen to lose 10% of their body weight by New Year’s. Dmitry died in his sleep from a deadly heart attack a few days after he said he would see a doctor and canceled his training sessions.
Given that he was young, in good shape, and seemed to have a bright future ahead of him, his demise has shocked the fitness world.
Everyone learns the sad lesson that extreme “fits” might backfire.
Dmitry’s passing has become a somber warning story for many of his supporters and spectators. What was meant to be an inspirational metamorphosis ended up serving as a heartbreaking warning that severe diets, high-calorie binge eating, and fast weight gain (or reduction) pose major health dangers, especially to the cardiovascular system.
While social media users lamented his passing with remarks like “Instead of losing the weight, he lost his life,” many also urged more prudence and accountability while engaging in or advocating for extreme body-modification projects for fitness.
