Crime Investigation – Crime Investigation -A late-night police operation in Noida led to the arrest of two men accused in the murder of a young resident, while two juveniles connected to the case were also taken into custody during a follow-up search operation.

A violent dispute linked to financial dealings recently turned fatal in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida district, prompting swift action from the Sector-63 Police Station team. Authorities confirmed that two suspects were arrested after an armed confrontation with police, while two minors allegedly involved in the incident were later detained separately.
Youth Succumbed to Injuries After Knife Attack
According to police officials, the victim, identified as 20-year-old Deepak, was a resident of Chotpur Colony and the son of Suraj Singh. Investigators said the attack took place on May 17 when a group of young men allegedly assaulted him with knives following an argument connected to money.
Deepak was rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Despite medical treatment, he later died from his injuries. Following his death, investigators added charges under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to the case already registered at Sector-63 Police Station.
Police Chase Led to Armed Encounter
Officials stated that police teams were actively searching for the accused while also carrying out a late-night vehicle checking drive near the green belt service road connecting the Bahalolpur underpass to FNG Road.
During the operation, officers noticed four young men travelling on two motorcycles approaching the area. Police attempted to stop them for questioning, but the riders allegedly tried to escape by turning their motorcycles around and speeding away.
Suspecting their involvement in the murder case, police teams pursued the group. Authorities later claimed that the suspects opened fire after finding themselves surrounded by officers.
Police responded to the gunfire in what officials described as an act of self-defence. During the exchange, two of the accused suffered bullet injuries and were overpowered at the scene.
Injured Accused Identified by Police
The two injured suspects were identified as Aman, son of Veer Singh, and Sandeep Kumar, son of Sanjay Singh. Both are originally from Bulandshahr district and had reportedly been staying in rented accommodation in Chotpur Colony.
Police confirmed that the injured men were taken to a hospital for medical treatment under security supervision.
Meanwhile, the remaining two suspects were found to be juveniles. They were detained during a combing operation launched shortly after the encounter.
Weapons and Motorcycles Recovered
During the operation, police recovered several items allegedly connected to the crime and the encounter. Officials said the seized materials included three illegal country-made pistols, four live cartridges, two empty shells, a knife, and two motorcycles believed to have been used by the accused.
Investigators are now examining the recovered weapons and vehicles as part of the ongoing probe.
Investigation Continues Into Criminal Background
Police authorities said further investigation is underway to determine whether the accused were linked to previous criminal activities. Officers are also collecting additional evidence related to the murder and the sequence of events leading up to the confrontation with police.
The case has drawn attention in the region due to the violent nature of the attack and the subsequent armed encounter during the arrest operation. Security agencies are continuing to monitor the situation while legal proceedings move forward.
