Administration – Yogi Adityanath Opens Modern RUPAAM Training Campus in Lucknow

Administration – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate the newly built campus of the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Uttar Pradesh Administration and Management Academy (RUPAAM) in Lucknow on Friday. Developed as a modern centre for administrative learning, the campus is expected to strengthen training facilities for government officers and staff across the state.

The Chief Minister will also open the ninth Uttar Pradesh Common Festival 2026 during the programme. A commemorative publication will be unveiled at the event, while progressive gardeners will receive recognition for their contribution to horticulture and agricultural development.

New Campus Built for Administrative Capacity Building

The RUPAAM campus has been constructed at an estimated cost of more than Rs 464 crore. Spread across over 22 acres, the facility has been designed to support advanced training programmes for public administration and management.

According to the Uttar Pradesh government, the academy has been equipped to host training sessions of national and international standards. The campus includes modern classrooms, technology-enabled learning spaces, residential accommodation and other facilities intended to create a professional training environment.

The new centre will focus on areas such as good governance, leadership skills, public administration, institutional capacity building and service delivery. Officials said the academy will help prepare administrative personnel to respond more effectively to the changing demands of governance.

Focus on Better Public Service Delivery

In a post on X, Chief Minister Adityanath said that efficient administration and financially strong farmers were essential to the vision of a developed Uttar Pradesh. He described the new academy campus as an important outcome of the state government’s commitment to improving governance systems.

The Chief Minister said the campus would provide a stronger platform for modern administrative training. By improving the skills and preparedness of officers, the government expects the academy to contribute to greater transparency, improved implementation of public schemes and more responsive services for citizens.

The facility is also expected to support regular training for officers working in different departments. With administrative responsibilities becoming increasingly complex, the academy will offer structured programmes aimed at improving decision-making, leadership and coordination among government personnel.

Common Festival to Honour Progressive Gardeners

Alongside the inauguration of the academy, the Uttar Pradesh Common Festival 2026 will highlight the role of farmers and gardeners in the state’s development. The event will include the release of a commemorative volume documenting relevant achievements and activities.

Progressive gardeners will be honoured during the festival for adopting improved practices and contributing to the growth of horticulture. The recognition is intended to encourage innovation in farming and promote successful models that can be adopted by others.

The state government has linked the two events to its broader development agenda, combining administrative reform with agricultural progress. Officials believe that better-trained public servants and stronger support for farmers can help improve outcomes in both rural and urban areas.
