Tirumala Laddu – June Sales Reach New High Amid Rising Pilgrim Footfall
Tirumala Laddu – Tirumala prasadam distribution recorded a new monthly high in June 2026, with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams selling 1,26,81,805 Srivari Laddus as pilgrim arrivals continued to rise at the hill shrine.

The latest figures show a consistent increase in laddu sales over the past three months. TTD sold 1,11,96,170 laddus in April, followed by 1,21,35,528 in May. The June total rose further, making it the highest monthly sale recorded during the current period.
Monthly Sales Show Steady Growth
The growing demand for Srivari Laddu Prasadam has closely followed the increase in devotees visiting Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Officials said the rising number of pilgrims led to higher daily requirements at the temple complex and distribution counters.
From April to June, the number of laddus sold increased by nearly 15 lakh. The June figure was about 5.46 lakh higher than the May total, indicating sustained demand during the peak pilgrimage period.
June Performance Surpasses Previous Years
The June 2026 sales also exceeded the figures reported in the same month over the past two years. In June 2024, TTD sold 1,02,64,364 laddus, while the total rose to 1,19,13,600 in June 2025.
Compared with June last year, sales increased by 7,68,205 laddus, representing a growth of 6.45 percent. The increase was even more significant when compared with June 2024, with sales rising by 24,17,441 laddus, or 23.55 percent.
TTD Expands Production Planning
TTD said it has strengthened production planning to meet the higher requirement for Srivari Laddu Prasadam. The organisation has been monitoring demand and arranging production schedules to avoid shortages during busy days.
The temple body stated that the focus remains on ensuring that devotees receive the prasadam without delays or inconvenience after completing darshan. Additional planning has been undertaken to maintain regular supply at distribution points as pilgrim movement remains high.
Laddu Remains a Key Part of Tirumala Pilgrimage
Srivari Laddu Prasadam is one of the most recognised offerings associated with the Tirumala temple. Many devotees purchase the laddus after darshan and carry them home as a sacred offering for family members and relatives.
The record sales in June underline the continuing importance of the prasadam in the pilgrimage experience. With the number of visitors remaining strong, TTD is expected to continue reviewing daily production requirements and distribution arrangements.
Officials said the current system is being managed with the objective of maintaining smooth access to laddus for devotees throughout the day. The organisation has indicated that it will continue to adjust its preparations according to pilgrim turnout at Tirumala.
