Telangana Crime – Six Killed in Ranga Reddy Stabbing Case Linked to POCSO Investigation
Telangana Crime – Authorities in Telangana have launched a detailed investigation after a deadly stabbing incident in Ranga Reddy district claimed six lives. Police have taken the accused into custody and are examining the circumstances that led to the violent attack.

The incident took place during the early hours of Saturday in Daivalaguda village under the jurisdiction of the Shabad police station. According to investigators, the accused, identified as 35-year-old Rajkumar, allegedly carried out a series of fatal attacks that resulted in the deaths of his wife, their two children, and three members of another family. The case has shocked residents of the area due to the number of victims and the nature of the crime.
Police Link Incident to Earlier POCSO Case
Preliminary findings indicate that the attack may have been connected to a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case previously registered against the accused. Police officials believe Rajkumar may have been driven by a desire for revenge after legal action was initiated against him, although investigators have said that the exact motive will be confirmed only after a thorough inquiry.
Authorities stated that the accused had earlier been arrested following a complaint lodged by the mother of a minor girl in May this year. After being remanded to custody, he was later granted bail. Investigators are now reviewing the sequence of events that unfolded after his release.
Victims Included Members of Two Families
According to the police, Rajkumar allegedly entered a residence in the village before dawn and attacked multiple people with a sharp weapon. Along with his wife and two children, the victims included the minor girl involved in the earlier case, her mother, and her grandmother. All six sustained fatal injuries during the assault.
Officials said the attack affected two separate families and has left the local community in deep shock. Police teams reached the scene soon after receiving information and secured the area for forensic examination.
Phone Call Alerted Family Members
Investigators said the accused reportedly contacted his relatives by phone after the incident. During the conversation, he allegedly claimed that he had killed members of both families and intended to end his own life.
Following the call, his parents immediately informed the police, leading officers to respond quickly. Rajkumar was subsequently taken into custody before any further harm could occur. Police have not disclosed additional details about his statement, saying the investigation remains in progress.
Investigation Continues
The bodies of all six victims have been sent for post-mortem examinations as part of the ongoing investigation. Forensic experts and police officials are collecting evidence from the crime scene while recording statements from witnesses and family members.
Senior police officers said every aspect of the case, including the accused’s actions before and after the incident, is being carefully examined. Authorities have assured that the investigation will follow due legal procedure and that all findings will be presented based on evidence.
The tragic incident has once again highlighted the importance of ensuring timely legal processes and effective monitoring in sensitive criminal cases. Police have appealed to the public to avoid speculation while the investigation continues.
