Acting on her complaint, the Airport Police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the allegations. Authorities have stated that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.

Complaint Details
According to the complaint submitted by the young woman, the primary accused, identified as K. Rishi, had allegedly been troubling her for an extended period. She claimed that the repeated harassment caused distress to both her and her family. Concerned by the situation, her family confronted the accused in an attempt to resolve the matter peacefully.
The complainant further alleged that instead of ending the harassment, the situation became more serious after the confrontation. She stated that K. Rishi, along with his brother K. Venkatesh, allegedly involved several other individuals who intimidated the family and issued threats, creating an atmosphere of fear in the neighbourhood.
Allegations of Online Harassment
The complaint also includes accusations related to online misconduct. The woman alleged that fake social media profiles were created in an attempt to target her digitally. According to her statement, these accounts were allegedly used to spread misleading information and damage her reputation, adding to the emotional pressure she had already been experiencing.
Police are expected to examine digital evidence, including social media activity and any electronic records, as part of the investigation. Officials will verify the claims before determining the next course of legal action.
Family Seeks Community Support
As the matter continued, the victim’s family reportedly sought assistance from the social organisation Dalit Seva Sena. Representatives of the organisation extended support to the family and helped them approach the police to ensure that the complaint received prompt attention.
The organisation’s members coordinated with officials from the Airport Police jurisdiction and facilitated communication between the complainant’s family and the investigating officers. Their involvement aimed to ensure that the allegations were formally recorded and investigated through the legal process.
Police Begin Investigation
Following the registration of the case, police officials launched an investigation into the allegations made by the complainant. Investigators are collecting statements and examining available evidence related to both the alleged harassment and the reported online activities.
Airport Zone Circle Inspector Shankar Narayana and Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna stated that the police are committed to maintaining public safety and protecting women from harassment. They emphasized that any individual found responsible for threatening others or disturbing public order would face action in accordance with the law, regardless of their identity or social background.
