Leaders Describe Visit as Spiritually Enriching

Speaking after the visit, senior Congress MLA T.B. Jayachandra said the delegation felt fortunate to have had the opportunity to witness the temple and participate in rituals. According to him, the darshan of Lord Ram brought a sense of peace and fulfillment to all members present.

He noted that the connection between Karnataka and Ayodhya holds emotional significance for many devotees. Referring to traditional beliefs, he said that while Lord Ram is associated with Ayodhya, Lord Hanuman is widely believed to have roots in Karnataka, creating a cultural and spiritual link between the two regions.

Temple Architecture Leaves Lasting Impression

Jayachandra also highlighted the impressive design and construction of the temple, calling it a remarkable blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques. He described the structure as visually striking and thoughtfully built, adding that the experience would remain memorable for everyone in the group.

He further expressed a desire to revisit the temple in the future, emphasizing that the visit was not only religious but also personally meaningful for the delegation members.

Delegation Includes Senior Leaders and Ministers

The group consisted of around 15 individuals, including sitting legislators, former ministers, and senior political figures from Karnataka. Their visit was part of a broader effort to experience the newly constructed temple and understand its cultural significance.

The leaders collectively acknowledged the importance of the temple as a symbol of faith and heritage, noting that such visits help strengthen unity among people from different parts of the country.

Karnataka’s Contribution to Ram Temple

Jayachandra also pointed out Karnataka’s role in the creation of the Ram Temple, underlining the contribution of noted sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru. The idol of Ram Lalla installed at the temple has been crafted by him, bringing recognition to the state’s artistic traditions.

In addition, he mentioned that the stone used in the making of the idol was sourced from Karnataka, further deepening the state’s connection with the temple. These elements, he said, have added to the pride and emotional involvement of people from Karnataka.

Other Leaders Echo Similar Views

Another Congress MLA, Ashok Pattan, shared similar sentiments, praising the temple’s grandeur and detailed workmanship. He described the visit as both a proud and spiritual moment for the delegation.

Pattan said the intricate carvings and overall scale of the temple reflect a high level of dedication and skill. According to him, the experience brought a sense of unity and reverence among those present.

A Visit Marked by Faith and Cultural Bond

The delegation’s visit highlights how religious and cultural landmarks continue to bring people together across regions. For the Karnataka leaders, the journey to Ayodhya was not only about devotion but also about recognizing shared traditions and historical ties.

Their reflections underline the broader significance of the Ram Temple as a place that connects communities through faith, art, and heritage, while also strengthening inter-regional bonds within the country.
