PM Modi: adds that the zeal of Indians in Oman is a sign of interpersonal relationships
PM Modi: The welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi got upon his visit in Oman on Wednesday was much appreciated.

Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, welcomed PM Modi at the airport in Muscat, and Modi expressed his gratitude.

PM Modi said that the visit provided the chance to investigate new areas of cooperation when he arrived at the airport earlier in the day.

“This evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the friendly Republic of India arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on an official two-day visit. He will meet with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Most Exaltedmay God protect and preserve him,” the Foreign Ministry of Oman said in a statement. As the guest state and its accompanying delegation arrived at Muscat International Airport, His Highness Sheikh Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, was at the forefront of the crowd greeting them on Omani soil and wishing them a successful visit at the aircraft steps. The Indian Republican Anthem was performed and His Highness the Sayyid accompanied the visitor nation to the podium of honor at an official greeting ceremony conducted in the VIP Hall at Muscat International Airport.
The visit is particularly significant since it commemorates the 70th anniversary of India and Oman’s official ties being established.
