Traditional Attire Observed During Temple Visit

In keeping with the customs followed at the Tirumala shrine, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant arrived dressed in traditional clothing required for devotees entering the temple premises. The visit drew attention from fellow pilgrims and visitors present at the temple complex.

Located on the seventh hill of the Seshachalam range in Andhra Pradesh, the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple remains a major center of faith for millions of devotees. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, popularly known as Balaji, the temple receives visitors from across India and several countries throughout the year.

Recent Spiritual Engagement in Bengaluru

The Tirumala visit comes weeks after Mukesh Ambani and Anant Ambani traveled to Bengaluru to participate in the 45th anniversary celebrations of the Art of Living Foundation. During the event, they met spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, received blessings, and spent time at the foundation’s international headquarters.

The Ambani family’s participation in spiritual and religious activities has frequently attracted public attention, particularly at significant cultural and faith-based events across the country.

Tirumala Continues to Welcome Prominent Visitors

The Tirumala temple has long been a preferred destination for public figures, including actors, political leaders, business personalities, and sports stars seeking divine blessings. The shrine’s spiritual significance and centuries-old traditions continue to draw notable visitors throughout the year.

Earlier this month, actor Janhvi Kapoor visited the temple before the global theatrical release of her film “Peddi.” She undertook the traditional pilgrimage route by walking barefoot up the sacred Alipiri steps before offering prayers. During her visit, she was seen wearing a purple silk saree featuring delicate gold detailing and floral patterns.

Film Personalities and Leaders Visit the Shrine

Actor Kriti Sanon also visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple on June 3 ahead of the release of her upcoming film “Cocktail 2.” Her visit added to the growing list of prominent personalities who have recently sought blessings at the sacred site.

Political leaders have also continued the tradition of visiting Tirumala. In May, Union Minister Rammohan Naidu completed the customary foot pilgrimage from Alipiri to Tirumala with his family. The journey involved climbing nearly 3,400 steps before reaching the temple.

Speaking after the pilgrimage, Naidu described the experience as deeply spiritual and personally meaningful. He noted that visiting the temple through the traditional route has been a family practice since his childhood. According to the minister, the climb took nearly four hours and made the occasion even more special.
