CrimeReport – A disturbing incident in Hyderabad has triggered concern after a young woman working at a spa centre was allegedly killed by her estranged husband inside her workplace. The incident took place on Tuesday in the Kavadiguda area of Secunderabad, where police said the accused attacked the woman during an argument.
Woman Attacked Inside Workplace
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Bangi Deborah, was employed as a beautician at a spa centre in the city. According to preliminary police findings, Deborah was at work when her husband, Raju, reportedly arrived at the premises and confronted her. Witnesses told investigators that a heated exchange broke out between the two before the situation turned violent.
Police officials stated that the accused allegedly stabbed Deborah multiple times, leaving her critically injured. Staff members and nearby residents rushed to help and informed authorities, but the woman reportedly died from her injuries soon after the attack.
Accused Surrenders After Incident
Investigators said the accused later surrendered at the Attapur Police Station following the incident. Raju, who works as an auto driver and lives in Hyderabad’s Attapur area, is now in police custody while officers continue questioning him about the circumstances surrounding the case.
According to reports, the couple had been living separately for nearly two years due to ongoing marital disputes. Sources familiar with the investigation indicated that divorce proceedings between the two were also pending. Police believe personal tensions may have led to the confrontation at the spa centre.
Authorities are also examining the accused’s past criminal background. Reports suggest that he had earlier been linked to a kidnapping case involving Deborah in 2016 when she was still a minor. Officials have not yet shared further details regarding the status of that earlier case.
Police Continue Detailed Investigation
Senior police officials visited the crime scene shortly after the incident to collect evidence and record statements from employees and witnesses. Forensic teams also inspected the spa centre as part of the investigation process.
Authorities said they are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to establish the sequence of events leading up to the attack. Police are expected to file additional charges after completing their inquiry and gathering forensic evidence.
The case has once again highlighted concerns surrounding crimes linked to domestic disputes and violence against women. Several local residents expressed shock over the incident, especially because it occurred in a busy commercial area during working hours.
Separate Fatal Stabbing Reported in Delhi
In another violent incident reported from the national capital, two men lost their lives after an alleged stabbing in Delhi’s Sarai Rohilla locality. Police confirmed that the victims were a man and his brother-in-law.
Both injured men were taken to RML Hospital for treatment after the attack. However, doctors later declared them dead. Delhi Police have started an investigation to determine the motive behind the assault and identify those involved.
Officials said further information in the case is still being gathered, and additional details are expected after questioning witnesses and examining evidence from the scene.
Earlier Arrest in Assault Case
Separately, Delhi Police’s Crime Branch recently announced the arrest of a proclaimed offender connected to a gang assault case involving a minor. The arrest was carried out by the Northern Delhi Range unit on April 30 after efforts to trace the accused.
Police officials stated that legal proceedings in that matter are continuing as investigators pursue further action related to the case.
