Accident – A major rescue operation is underway in North Delhi after a powerful LPG cylinder explosion brought down a single-story building in the Mukundpur area on Tuesday, leaving ten people injured. Authorities confirmed that emergency teams rushed to the location soon after the incident and began search efforts to ensure no one remained trapped beneath the debris.

The injured individuals were taken to nearby government hospitals, including Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital and Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where they are receiving medical care. NDRF Team Joins Search Operation

To strengthen rescue efforts, teams from the National Disaster Response Force arrived at the scene along with trained sniffer dogs. Their deployment is aimed at locating any possible survivors and assisting local agencies in clearing the affected area safely.

Separate Cylinder Blast Reported in East Delhi

In another incident reported earlier the same day, at least four people were injured following a cylinder explosion in Ajit Nagar, located in East Delhi’s Shahdara district.

Police officials said the blast occurred at around 1:30 pm. After receiving information about a fire at the location, local police personnel immediately reached the area and began rescue efforts.

A woman, several children, and a man were safely evacuated from the affected premises and transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that medical care is being provided and the condition of the injured individuals is being monitored.

Both incidents have once again highlighted the importance of strict safety measures while handling LPG cylinders in residential and commercial spaces. Investigations into the two separate explosions remain ongoing, and authorities are expected to release additional details as inquiries progress
