Trump : claims wounded US soldiers are “in good shape” after the mission in Venezuela
Trump : Calls have been sent to American military men wounded in his administration’s recent operation in Venezuela, and they are “in good shape,” US President Donald Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Sunday.

The President said that no Americans were killed in the operation, which was executed by the US Army’s elite Delta Force with help from an FBI team. However, according to a source informed on the situation, CNN claimed that a limited number of soldiers were injured during the operation.
The report states that the wounded troops were wounded by bullets and shrapnel while performing the assignment. According to a senior White House official who spoke with CNN, all of the injuries were minor, and the wounded military men are healing nicely and in stable condition.
Regarding the operation, Trump said that one of the participating helicopters was struck while on the mission. “One of the helicopters got hit pretty badly, but we got everything back, and nobody was killed,” he said. He didn’t provide any further operational information.
The President refused to provide a clear response when reporters questioned him about who was in command of the operation, claiming that doing so would be “very controversial.”Don’t ask me who’s in control because I’ll give you a very contentious response. Without going into any detail, he said, “It means we’re in charge.”
Trump also expressed strong opinions on Venezuela’s general state, calling it in a state of grave collapse. He compared the situation to what the United States would have faced if he had lost the presidential election. “It is a dead country right now,” he remarked.
The President mentioned Venezuela’s oil industry and said that significant investment is needed to rehabilitate the nation’s infrastructure. He said that a number of major oil firms are prepared to contribute and aid in the restoration of production. He said that “the oil companies are ready to go and rebuild the infrastructure,” which had been constructed years before but subsequently removed.
Trump attacked Venezuela’s government, claiming that the nation has been “horribly run” and that the country’s oil output is presently very low. He restated his belief that the current infrastructural and economic crises were caused by poor management.
Additional information on the operation’s goals and results has not been made public by US authorities. According to authorities, further details will be released when it is suitable.
Washington maintains that its efforts are intended to defend US interests and address regional instability, and the situation in Venezuela is still being constantly monitored.
