Sunny Deol: At the “Border 2” teaser launch event makes her first public appearance since Dharmendra’s passing and breaks down in tears

Sunny Deol: a Bollywood actor, made his first public appearance since legendary star Dharmendra’s death on November 24 during the teaser presentation for his next movie, “Border 2.”

While delivering one of the film’s sentences in his trademark flair and commanding voice, Deol seemed upset and was seen crying at the occasion.

“Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?” said Sunny Deol. When the crowd replied, “Lahore tak,” the actor repeated the words with the same ferocity as in the teaser. But as he delivered the dialogue, he became emotional.

The Deol family was devastated by the death of the actor’s father, legendary star Dharmendra, who died in Mumbai on November 24. Deol made his first public appearance following his father’s passing during the teaser premiere for Border 2.

Sunny Deol made an eye-catching entrance. The tone for the war drama was established immediately when he was seen operating a vehicle. The spectacular entrance attracted notice and gave viewers a peek into the violent world of “Border 2.” His co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty appeared in the car with him, sitting next to him.

The teaser for Border 2 was released by the creators on December 16 in honor of Vijay Diwas. Intense action scenes and a plot centered on the 1971 Indo-Pak war are hinted at in the teaser, which highlights the bravery of Indian troops who bravely defended their country.

Sunny Deol’s strong and motivational voiceover introduces the teaser. Intense fight scenes include appearances by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The preview showcases the characters’ emotional side, including their familial ties and romantic encounters, in addition to the action.

In addition to Deol, the new characters in Border 2 are Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.

“Border 2,” which was directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. The movie will be available on January 23, 2026.

Border 2, which is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with JP Dutta’s JP Films, carries on the tradition of honoring the bravery and unwavering spirit of Indian warriors. The movie claims to take viewers on a brave, selfless, and patriotic journey.
